The 6100 group offers variation of the universal pad concept found on the 6000 group. Primarily intended for use with Transistor circuits, other 3 terminal devices may be accepted as well. Simple foil modifications (see below), can make provisions for bias resistors where desired, or other devices as the circuit application may require.

Similar to the 6000 group, the design of the 6100 series provides universal mounting zones for 2 and three terminal devices. In this design the top land is isolated in each repeat of the pattern and is connected directly to a pin.
